Therapy sessions for Crieff pensioner who put hand up horse’s bottom
ByThe Courier Reporter
A pensioner caught with his hand up a horse’s rear end has been ordered to undergo therapy.
William Nicoll was handed the three-year order at Perth Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
The 66-year-old was also placed on the sex offenders register for the offence, which took place in July 2012.
Nicoll, of Kincardine Road, Crieff, had earlier admitted that on July 9 at the Holdings on Maxton Road, also Crieff, he conducted himself in a disorderly manner by entering a field containing three horses, approaching one and lifting its tail to repeatedly insert his hand up its bottom.
Sheriff Michael Fletcher ruled there was a “significant” sexual element to the offence.
He ordered Nicoll to take part in therapy sessions relating to sexual offences and anger management under the supervision of a doctor.
