A Perth Indian carry-out has scooped the title of Mid Scotland Takeaway of the Year at the Scottish Curry Awards. The Chilli Pepper, Edinburgh Road, which is owned by Furqan and Samera Younis, came out on top at the eighth annual Scottish Curry Awards. Samera said: “We have only been open for nearly two years so we were surprised to win and didn’t expect to achieve an award such as this so quickly.” He continued: “We would like to say a big thank-you to all of our staff for their hard work and our customers for their support.”
