Michael O’Halloran leaves St Johnstone for Rangers

Michael O’Halloran has signed for Rangers.
The longest-running transfer saga of the January transfer window has eventually been concluded, and the former Bolton and Celtic man has put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
After Rangers had two bids rejected about two weeks ago it looked like the deal was dead.
But the Ibrox club came back to Saints this morning, and have met chairman Steve Brown’s valuation of the player.
Brown said: “I’m satisfied with the transfer fee which reflects our full valuation of the player and we wish Michael all the best in the future.”
Saints are working on making at least one signing of their own before the midnight deadline.
