Picture today at Leuchars where police were questioning motorists one week after an alleged abduction attempt in the Fife village. Police are hunting a group of youths who attacked a 67-year-old woman in Perth. Officers say the pensioner was assaulted by four or five males and two females in Rannoch Road on Saturday February 27. The woman suffered minor injuries but was able to get on a bus and leave the area. The incident happened between 2pm and 2.30pm at a bus stop opposite Scotbet. Officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. They are particularly keen to speak to a woman who was in the area with a white Husky-type dog. Officers also want to speak to anyone who was on the Number 1 bus in Letham and remembers seeing a woman with a purple shopping trolley. Anyone with any information is asked to phone 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
