The mother of murder victim Duncan Banks, Dorothy, made an emotional appeal for information during a press conference at Dunfermline Police Station.
Police are following possible new leads in the murder of a Dunfermline man following an appeal by his distraught mother.
Thanking the public who came forward following last week’s appeal for information about the murder of Duncan Banks, 39, police in Fife confirmed a number of new calls have been received.
Police Scotland’s major investigation team was progressing the new information provided as part of its ongoing investigation.
And again, anyone who believed they can help but has yet to come forward was urged to call police.
Detective Chief Inspector Keith Hardie, who is leading the inquiry said: “I would once again like to thank the community for all of their help during our investigation.
“We have spoken to many different people who have been really open and forthcoming, but at this time we are still waiting for that one vital piece of information to help us identify Duncan’s killer.”
