The Scottish SPCA is appealing for information after a severely matted cat was found in Rosyth. The charity was called out to help the moggy on Monday by a resident of Albert Street. Now named Ellie, the elderly “friendly and adorable” tabby is now in the charity’s care. Inspector Nicola Liddell said she was incredibly matted and had obviously been wearing a collar as she was bald around her neck. “She was found in the caller’s shed and had possibly been shut in there for a couple of days.” Anyone who recognises Ellie is being asked to call the charity on 03000 999999.
