Woman assaulted at party after row over size of reveller’s manhood
ByThe Courier Reporter
A woman was thrown out of a party and down a flight of stairs after a row broke out over the size of one reveller’s manhood.
Jonathan Wales, 28, grabbed Julie Jamieson and struggled with her until she toppled down a full flight of stairs and broke her wrist upon landing.
Perth Sheriff Court was told that bawdy banter between some women at the party turned sour and led to a physical brawl.
Depute fiscal Gavin Letford told the court Wales ended up grabbing hold of Miss Jamieson and shoving her out of the flat and on to the landing in the close.
“He struggled with her and in doing so caused her to fall down the flight of stairs,” said Mr Letford.
“As she fell, she fell on to her wrist and felt it buckle under her body. She shouted: ‘My arm, my arm’ and the accused walked back upstairs and into the flat where the party was being held.”
Wales, of Balunie Street, Dundee, admitted assaulting and severely injuring Julie Jamieson during the fight at a party in Dunholm Road, Dundee, on July 7 2013.
Sheriff Lindsay Foulis deferred sentence to Tuesday December 22 for the preparation of background reports and Wales was released on bail.
