Perth street closed for gas repairs

Part of a busy Perth street has been closed for emergency gas main repairs.

Perth and Kinross Council has warned there is a danger to the public while the work is being carried out on Riggs Road.

The 230ft eastbound stretch has been shut between junctions at Longcauseway and Whitefriars Street.

Access to all emergency vehicles will be maintained.

Diversions have been put in place along Jeanfield Road, Rose Crescent and Glasgow Road.
