Police are continuing to hunt for a couple who fled a luxury Perthshire hotel after a romantic Valentines break, leaving an £800 bill.
The boss of Crieff’s Knock Castle, Jason Henderson, posted CCTV images of the pair, who stayed for two nights in a £180-a-night lodge, on the hotel’s Facebook page.
They also enjoyed champagne, flowers and two meals at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant.
The hotel is offering a free two-night stay for anyone who helps catch the culprits.
Since exposing the couple online, Jason has received hundreds of messages of support.
On Facebook Andy Ross wrote: “Quality CCTV images. Good luck in the hunt for perpetrators”, while Paul Kelley added: “Hope you catch them, your hotel looks very nice and people like this deserve to be caught by whatever means possible.”
Demi Fox said: “Absolutely shocking and I hope they get what they deserve. It’s a shame your good faith in people has lead you to this.”
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirmed that inquiries continue.
