At around 6.15pm, 915 homes at Kinnoul Hill, Poulner Hill, Bowerswell and Dundee Road and the surrounding areas had their electricity cut off. SSE engineers arrived at 6.45pm and restored power to the majority of people, but 374 are still left in the dark. They are aiming to have everybody back on by 9pm. The cause of the powercut is unknown. An SSE spokeswoman said: “We’re sorry for the powercut affecting some areas of Perth. “The priority was to get the customers back on, and then the cause will be investigated.”
