Angry Arbroath manager Allan Moore is looking for his players to win for the first time this year and move back to the top of the table.
The Gayfield gaffer has grown frustrated as the Red Lichties have failed to pick up a win in eight League 2 games and he will be making changes despite a rousing three-goal comeback to draw with Elgin on Saturday.
Moore said: “The Elgin game marked the start of three home fixtures in four matches and I wanted nine points from those home games.
“That would have made Gayfield a place that teams did not fancy coming to, however we now need to start again against East Stirling.”
There could be recalls for Kevin Nicoll and Scott McBride after injury with on-loan Dundee midfielder Dylan Carreiro also tipped to return to the starting line-up with Moore adding: “There will be changes as losing three goals at home was not acceptable.
“It was a great comeback and it was good that a defender, Ricky Little, chipped in with a goal, however some players did not do the jobs they were asked to do.
“East Stirling have beaten Albion Rovers and Queen’s Park recently and that is warning enough that I need players who will do what is required of them.”
The Shire, who have won three times in their last four games, hope to add former Motherwell striker Adam Ashgar on loan before kick-off.
Head coach Craig Tully is hoping Ashgar can make the same impact that Partick Thistle youngster Kevin Nisbet made on his debut on Saturday when he scored twice in the Shire’s 3-1 win over Queen’s Park.
