A music conductor who struck the wrong note by driving drunk and weaving slowly around the carriageway has been banned from the road.
Kevin Philip who also works as a cruise ship musician said the ban would prevent him from ferrying his instruments to events around the country.
Depute fiscal Tina Dickie told Perth Sheriff Court that Phillip was stopped by police shortly after 3am because they were concerned about his driving.
Philip, 27, of Magpie Way, Perth, admitted driving while he was more than three times over the limit in Perth on August 16. He was banned from driving for 20 months and fined £800.
