Drugs with an estimated street value of £30,000 have been discovered in a raid on a property in Dunfermline, police have confirmed.
Officers carried out a search of an address in Adamson Crescent on Wednesday, when a large quantity of cannabis plants were found.
A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act and is expected to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court at a later date.
It is understood this week’s raid came after a tip-off from members of the public.
Sergeant Neil McGurk from Dunfermline’s Community Investigation Unit, said: “Fife officers are committed to tackling drug crime and removing offenders from our communities and whenever we receive intelligence from our communities we will always investigate thoroughly.”
