Anstruthers links with the water were celebrated at the weekend as both the lifeboat and the Scottish Fisheries Museum hosted open days. The harbour became a sea of colour as pupils staged a parade of homemade international flags, led through the streets by drummers. It was just one of the events hosted by the Fisheries Museum, with a model boat exhibition and rowing club demonstrations also taking place in the sunshine. Meanwhile, the crew of the Anstruther lifeboat were on hand to give visitors a behind the scenes look at the work they do to save lives.
