An Amsterdam-bound plane has had to return to Glasgow because of a cracked windscreen.
The fault in the cockpit was discovered after the easyJet plane took off from Glasgow Airport at around 10am.
It returned after about 30 minutes and the airline said a replacement aircraft is on route to take passengers to Amsterdam later in the day.
A company spokeswoman said: “EasyJet can confirm that flight EZY6853 Glasgow to Amsterdam returned to Glasgow Airport this morning due to a technical fault.
“The safety and welfare of our passengers and crew is easyJet’s priority and a replacement aircraft will be arranged as soon as possible. EasyJet would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused to the customers.”
