Vases and a granite memorial were stolen and a headstone damaged between February 3 and 24. An investigation was carried out and officers in Glenrothes have subsequently charged a 15-year-old with various offences. Local Community Sergeant Kenny Greig said: “In every case of vandalism there is a victim. “This crime shows an utter disregard for the feelings of the family concerned and has caused outrage in the community. “We want to make sure that persons ruining the quality of life in our area are brought to justice.”
