Passengers travelling on a mini-coach escaped serious injury following a three-vehicle collision with a campervan and a car on the southern approach to the Broxden roundabout at Perth.
Eight “walking wounded” were taken to Perth Royal Infirmary (PRI), with two people taken to Ninewells Hospital as “a precaution” after the incident at around 1.40pm on Friday.
Emergency crews swung into action with five ambulances and several police cars in attendance.
Traffic approaching Perth from the M90 Craigend interchange were queued back as far as the Friarton Bridge, with the inside lane initially closed.
A bystander said it appeared the mini-coach had collided with the rear of the campervan. A blue Vauxhall Zafira was also involved in the collision.
A police spokesman confirmed the accident took place at 1.40pm.
“Three vehicles were involved and the inside lane was blocked off,” she said.
A spokesman for Scottish Ambulance Service added: “Two people were taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, as a precaution, while eight walking wounded were conveyed to PRI with minor injuries.”
