Dundee boss Paul Hartley sweating over defender’s injury

Dundee boss Paul Hartley is still awaiting news on the full extent of the ankle injury sustained by Julen Etxabeguren in Saturday’s draw at Hamilton.
The big Spanish centre-half had to be stretchered off in the 75th minute of the game at New Douglas Park.
Hartley is now keeping his fingers crossed that the injury is not too serious and that Etxabeguren will recover in time to face Kilmarnock at the weekend.
The manager said: “We are still waiting to discover the full extent of Julen’s injury as we will have to let the ankle settle down first.”
Meanwhile, Kane Hemmings, who missed the Hamilton game after picking up a knock on Friday, should be fit enough to return to training today.
