Ian Dickson faces a charge of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner at Findas Farm, near Cupar, on December 17 last year. It is alleged he “caused fear and alarm” by pointing a shotgun at or in the direction of others, in particular Lawrie Thomson. Dickson, 56, of Pentland Drive, Kennoway, denied the charge when he appeared before Sheriff Alistair Carmichael at Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday. Sheriff Carmichael set a trial date in February.
