Dundee United new boy Curtis Good has a chance of making a quickfire debut today at Firhill.
The Tangerines snapped up the central defender from Newcastle United on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old Australian, who also holds a British passport, goes straight into the squad for the Premiership match against Partick Thistle.
The timing of the agreement is ideal for United, who have first-choice stopper Gavin Gunning out with a knee injury.
Good is a graduate of the esteemed Australian Institute of Sport and has been capped by his country at under-20 and under-23 levels.
Tannadice boss Jackie McNamara said: “Curtis comes to us highly recommended and from a well-respected club. He is left-footed and can play as either a central defender or left back.
“These are areas that require cover and it was important this was addressed during the window.
“He is six foot one and strong and should give a different option to the defenders already at the club. I am very happy to have this deal completed.
“It offers Curtis the opportunity to get some game time whilst enhancing our squad for the latter part of the season.”
Heading out of Tannadice last night was striker Kudus Oyenuga, who has joined English Conference side Boreham Wood on loan for the rest of the season, and defender Ross Smith, who has signed for Peterhead.
