Albion Rovers v Montrose: Trio committed to Gable Endies
ByThe Courier Reporter
Montrose boss Stuart Garden has expressed his delight after three players committed their futures to the club.
Frontman Bryan Deasley, who has scored eight goals since joining on loan from Angus neighbours Forfar in August, has moved permanently from Station Park and signed a 18-month deal.
Garden has persuaded promising Dundee United youngster Luke Johnston to extend his loan stay for another two months while Dundee winger Jamie Reid will be remaining until the end of the season.
The manager said: “Deas has done well for us since he came in and made a real difference so I am delighted he has agreed to stay.
“He has signed an 18-month deal which means we will have him with us for at least another season, which is a big boost for the club.
“I was also really pleased Luke Johnston and Jamie Reid will also be staying with us.
“They have both settled in well at the club and I believe there is still a lot more to come from them.”
