The Scottish Police Authority, the new body set up to maintain Scottish policing and hold the chief constable of Police Scotland and the chief executive of the SPA to account, will come to Dundee for its sixth public meeting.
The session in the city chambers at 11am is open to members of the public.
Issues to be discussed include the strategic police plan, the SPA’s proposed approach to complaints handling and Police Scotland’s statement on operational readiness for April 1.
Scotland’s eight police forces are being amalgamated into the new national body and regional police boards will be replaced.
The Scottish Police Authority is keen to establish links with all parts of the country, and is taking its meetings round the land.
