Thieves stole two mountain bikes from a farm near Leslie.
The black Rock mountain bike and a black Shimano road bike with a carbon fibre frame wereboth taken from an outbuilding at Ballingall Farm near Leslie between 8pm on Saturday and 9am the following morning.
Police are now urging rural Fife residents to ensure their property is kept secure.
Investigating officer PC Ross Fisher said: “I would ask anyone who may have seen someone with bikes similar to these ones since Sunday to contact Police Scotland immediately.
“Isolated and rural properties can be particularly vulnerable to the this type of theft and I would also urge people living in these areas to secure their property and to be on the look out for any suspicious people or vehicles.”
