The line-up for this year’s Bonfest has been announced.
The popular tribute attracts thousands of AC/DC fans from across the globe to Kirriemuir, where the band’s original singer Bon Scott spent his early years.
This year’s festival kicks off on August 15 and will be headlined by former AC/DC drummer Chris Slade. Slade worked on four of the band’s releases between 1990 and 1993.

Galloway, chairman of organisers DD8 Music, said: “The word legend is one that is bandied about a bit too easily these days.
“However, we can say without doubt that our final headliner for this year’s Bonfest is a 100%, total legend.
“Playing on Sunday August 17 we have the incredible Mr Thunderstruck himself, Chris Slade.
“Chris has had an absolutely amazing career as a rock drummer, playing with a who’s who list of musical greats.
“And of course Chris was also the drummer for AC/DC for five years.
“We are incredibly honoured to have Chris as our closing act at this year’s festival, and don’t need to tell you that this is one gig you do not want to miss.”
All-girl tribute group Back:N:Black from Switzerland will open the festival. They will be joined on the bill by Spain’s tribute to AC/DC, the Bon Scott Revival Show, on the Saturday.
