Oil firm Ithaca hailed the completion of renovation works of a floating production plant to be used at its Greater Stella Development production hub in the North Sea.
It said the completion of dry dock refurbishment and hull life extension works were a “major milestone” for the Stella project, while materials for the construction of new topsides continue to flow to a Petrofac yard in Gdansk, Poland.
Meanwhile, critical subsea installation works have been completed by Technip UK, and co-venturers at Dyas and Petrofac continue efforts to finalise the oil export route for the development.
The wider Stella area has excited interest thanks to a proven and probable reserve.
