St Johnstone are expected to prepare for their European campaign in the north of Scotland, manager Steve Lomas has revealed.
Lomas had hoped to take his squad to either Austria or Holland, but that doesn’t look like happening now that they have clinched a spot in the Europa League.
He reported: “I think the chairman’s organising the Highlands. We’ll be in on the 27th of June and have a couple of days of fitness testing and then have a week away.
“I thought we might be able to go to Austria or Holland but I don’t think that’s going to happen.
“We’ve already got a game against Dundee and Morecambe organised and I think we’ll be playing Peterhead and a Highland League team while we’re up north.”
