Getting kitted out for Sochi

Unfortunately our Rest of the World team couldn’t win the Continental Cup in Vegas last weekend.

As much as I love to win everything I go into, the week was perfect for us in every other way. It was one week when the result wasn’t everything.

We got great ice, managed to get the last chill-out time we’ll get before Sochi, and kept our game ticking over.

And, who’d have thought over 50,000 people would have watched a curling event in Vegas!

We’re back in Britain and it’s pretty hectic as you would imagine now that we’re so close to Sochi.

One of the best bits about the run-up to an Olympics is getting all your shiny new kit.

We got ours earlier this week.

Believe me, there’s everything you could possibly imagine….and more!

I’m glad I won’t have to lug it all to Russia though.
