Huge wind turbine parts arrive at Dundee

Wind turbines which have arrived into Dundee’s port are destined for an inland windfarm outside the city.

The enormous Siemens turbine parts have been spotted by many Courier readers who have been left curious to know what was going on.

A spokeswoman for the port said there will be lots more coming in.

The port is acting as a drop-off point for the huge cargo before the turbines are moved on again.

Moving the giant parts is expected to be a major operation due to their size.
