Amy Lees helped herself to cash which had been donated by the public to help fund research and aid people with cancer. She was running a city centre charity shop for Cancer Research UK when she took £804.39 between March 13 and 31 this year. Lees, of Malvina Place, Perth, admitted the offence and Sheriff Kevin Veal deferred sentence until next month at Perth Sheriff Court.
