Raith Rovers players Scott Robertson and Iain Davidson have put pen to paper on contract extensions with the club.
While the Kirkcaldy side still have plenty to play for this season, Stark’s Park boss Ray McKinnon is determined to have the nucleus of his squad in place for the next campaign.
He has already persuaded the likes of Kyle Benedictus, Lewis Toshney, Mark Stewart, David Bates and skipper Jason Thomson to extend their time with the club.
Now, he has added 30-year-old Robertson and Davidson, who’s 32, to his roster for next season.
McKinnon, who was yesterday named Ladbrokes Manager of the Month for March said: “I am absolutely delighted that two very talented and experienced players have committed to the club.”
“It is another sign that we are heading in the right direction.”
Former Scotland, Dundee United and Hibs midfielder Robertson joined the Kirkcaldy side in October after a short spell in Romania and he has now made 19 appearances for Rovers.
Davidson, who is equally at home at the back or in midfield, is in his second stint with Raith after leaving Dundee last summer.
