Police have continued their search for a body in the river Tay at Perth.
Officers using a police boat combed the lower part of the river on Thursday, with better weather conditions allowing them to resume their investigation.
A body was reported to be in the water near Perth Bridge at around 5pm on Sunday and the alert sparked a full-scale emergency response.
Nine fire appliances dispatched from Perth, Dunkeld, Coupar Angus and Dundee attended immediately at the scene on Tay Street, Perth, where a command centre was set up.
A police helicopter was also deployed as part of the operation. Chief Inspector Mike Whitford told The Courier that police marine units were still searching for the body in the lower part of the river Tay.
“We have units out today searching in the river Tay,” he said.
Earlier this week, a Perth man told The Courier that he saw a body in the water on Sunday, after initially thinking it could be a mannequin.
