Fife firefighter Stevie McCrorie hit all the right notes to qualify for next week’s final of The Voice.
The 30-year-old won over the BBC One voting public with an exhilarating rendition of Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love”, accompanied by a pair of pipers.
It was the first time that the Kirkcaldy Blue Watch member had faced the public vote after being given a “fast pass” by coach Ricky Wilson last week.
The pair later teamed up to perform a cover of “Stay With Me” by The Faces, along with fellow competitor Emmanuel.
Stevie, who is from Alva in Clackmannanshire, was already the bookies favourite to win the competition ahead of Saturday’s semi-final.
His firefighting colleagues were understood to be watching his performance from their station on Dunnikier Road.

Speaking after his performance, Stevie thanked the support he was receiving back in Scotland, even mentioning the posters that The Courier has been distributing in the past week.
He will be joined in next week’s finale by performers Sasha, Emmanuel and Lucy.
