Swift police response after man spotted on Kingsway

Police officers raced to a flyover on the Kingsway this afternoon after concerns were raised for the safety of a male pedestrian.

Units were deployed to the junction with Macalpine Road at around 2.50pm.

Police Scotland said the incident had been over swiftly and that the man was now with officers. It’s understood he did not sustain any injury.
