Relatives of a woman who died after suffering serious burns have said she will be dearly missed.
Ade Murray, 28, sustained burns at an address in Hillside Terrace, Selkirk, on Wednesday.
She was discovered in the street that morning and taken to Borders General Hospital, where she later died.
Police Scotland confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and said a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
In a tribute statement issued through police, Ms Murray’s family said: “We would like to thank everybody for their support at what is a very difficult time.
“We’d especially like to thank the members of the public, emergency services and hospital staff for their attempts to save Ade.
“Ade will be dearly missed by her husband and family and we respectfully request that we be left to grieve in private.”
