A couple are to stand trial accused of carrying out a sex act on a busy city centre bus in front of children.
Rhia Rodgers and Barrie Falconer are accused of “committing an offence of public indecency” on the number 18 Travel Dundee bus en route from Old Glamis Road in Dundee to the city centre.
It is alleged that the pair participated in a sex act.
Rodgers and Falconer denied the charge against them on summary complaint. The offence is alleged to have taken place on June 12 this year.
Fiscal depute Saima Rasheed said: “There are child witnesses in this case.”
Sheriff George Way set a trial date in November and ordered both to attend a pre-trial hearing later this month.
Rodgers also appeared on a further charge after she admitted stealing a sex book from an Ann Summers shop in Dundee’s city centre on June 14 two days after the alleged bus tryst.
Sheriff Way said: “This case will have sentence deferred until the trial dates.”
