Bid to trace woman who said she was followed in Perth park
ByThe Courier Reporter
Police in Perth are trying to trace a woman who claimed she had been followed by a male.
The “suspicious” incident took place around 8.40pm on Thursday in the South Inch Park, when the female approached several people to state she was scared and was being followed possibly by a male known to her.
A police spokesperson said: “This female has not made herself known to the police.
“However, police would like to speak with her to ensure she is safe and well.”
The incident follows an assault on a male that took place under the railway arches near the same park last Friday at 7pm.
Anyone with information on these incidents should call 101.
