A man assaulted the woman he plans to marry, Perth Sheriff Court heard on Monday.
Steven Mills, 43, of Green Julian Place, Inchture, argued with the woman after she told him she would puncture his tyres if he left their house.
Depute fiscal Robbie Brown said neighbours heard the couple arguing at around 4.30pm after Mills “struggled” inside and outside the property with his partner.
The court heard that she suffered a small cut to the back of her head and bruises to her arms and body.
Mills’ solicitor said that there had been an incident earlier that day.
“The couple are still in a relationship and plan to marry in February,” he said.
Mills admitted that on October 16 at a house in Green Julian Place, Inchture, he assaulted the woman by grabbing her round the neck, throwing her to the floor and grabbing her by the wrists.
He also pleaded guilty to shouting and swearing on the same day.
Sheriff Michael Fletcher said that he would defer sentence on Mills for the assault until May 14.
