Police were called to a road accident in Arbroath on Saturday. Officers rushed to Ladybridge Street following the two-vehicle collision at around noon. Paramedics attended and treated the occupants of both vehicles at the scene. One of the cars, a black Volkswagen Passat, collided with a signpost. A blue Volkswagen Golf was also involved. The collision took place at the junction with High Street, next to a corner shop. No-one was seriously injured and the road was cleared by 1pm.
