Firefighters were called to assist at the Tesco Dundee Extra store on the Kingsway shortly before 9am. The forecourt was closed after a fuel spillage from the tanker bay as tanks were re-filled. Motorists were asked to evacuate the site and the electrical supply was isolated. Firefighters are currently assisting the tanker driver with the spillage. Tesco is understood to have requested the attendance of an environmental protection unit from Forfar.
