A Muirhead man who repeatedly rang his ex-partner on Valentine’s Day appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court.
William Spence, 53, of Dronley Terrace, admitted on February 14 and 15 at Mull Terrace, Dundee, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner in that he repeatedly telephoned Helen McTaggart, pushed his way into the house and entered uninvited.
Depute fiscal Eilidh Robertson told the court, on Monday, that Spence and Miss McTaggart had been in a relationship for 18 years until last June.
She said: “Around 7.30pm last Friday Miss McTaggart received a number of phone calls from the accused.”
Defending, Erica Watson said Spence’s earlier calls were regarding their children and the one around midnight was about the dog, which he said Miss McTaggart had agreed to look after.
Sheriff Richard McFarlane deferred sentence to August 18 for Spence to be of good behaviour.
