A crackdown in Dundee has seen £88,000 worth of drugs seized and 26 people arrested for various drugs offences in a three-month period.
Ongoing operation Aurora is the latest to target individuals involved in the supply of class-A drugs in the city.
Considered the most dangerous, class-A drugs include heroin, cocaine, methadone, ecstasy, LSD and magic mushrooms.
Over a three-month period from April to June, people caught for supply, production and cultivation increased by 21.7% (28, compared to 23 for the same period last year).
Chief inspector of partnerships in Dundee, David McIntosh, said there was a focus on continuing to target the people who profit from organised crime in the city.
He added: “Drugs blight people’s lives in Dundee.”
