A Dundee woman killed in a horrific crash involving two cars near Aberdeen on Christmas Eve has been described as an “amazing person”.
Shiralee Duncan died after a two-car crash on the notorious accident blackspot at the A90 Charleston flyover.
The 37-year-old was cut free from the wreckage of a blue Volkswagen Polo following the accident, which happened shortly before 1pm.
She was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, but could not be saved.
Her loved ones were too upset to talk about the tragedy but her partner, Rob Courage, who is believed to live in Aberdeen, paid tribute to Ms Duncan online.
He wrote: “She was an amazing person who always had a smile and was able to put a smile on everyone else’s face.”
The crash which also involved a black BMW 5 Series happened at the flyover on the road between Aberdeen and Stonehaven.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene and the northbound slip road was closed off for several hours while crash investigators examined the scene.
Officers have appealed once again for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them immediately.
They have also asked that anyone who saw either vehicle beforehand contact them as a matter of urgency.
A spokesman for the force said: “Police Scotland can confirm that the 37-year-old woman who died was Shiralee Duncan from Dundee.
“The collision happened at around 12.50pm on Thursday December 24.
“Police are also renewing their appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them on 101.”
