Organisers of a showcase of talent from schools across Perthshire say they hope to make it a regular event after raising £20,000 on the night.
The Perth and Kinross Festival of Youth at Perth Concert Hall attracted 600 people.
More than 250 musicians and dancers performed to raise money for the Scottish Charity Air Ambulance and other charities supported by St John Perth and Kinross.
Dr John Ferguson-Smith, chairman of St John Perth and Kinross, said the sum already raised will be augmented by St John Scotland to boost the total further.
He said: “I thank everyone for their support, both those taking part on the stage and the audience.
“It was a fabulous success and a magnificent showcase of the wealth of talent we have in Perth and Kinross.
“We hope the support we have had means this can become a regular event.”
Among those taking part were Perth and Kinross Junior Brass Band, the Julie Young Dance Studios and Centre for Performing Arts, Perth and Kinross Wind Orchestra and musical groups and soloists from Strathallan, Kilgraston and Craigclowan schools and Glenalmond College.
