Officers attended a house in Angus Road around 9.10am and discovered the body of a woman believed to be in her late sixties. A spokesman for Police Scotland said inquiries were “ongoing,” but it is understood there are no suspicious circumstances regarding the death. Linda McFarlane, who works near the location, said: “There was a van outside the house in the morning and then three police cars later on in the day. “We were all surprised by the amount of police activity.” A report is expected to be sent to the procurator fiscal.
