McInnes says Dons would not match what Dundee United paid David Goodwillie

Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes has refused to rule out a loan move for David Goodwillie, but stressed he would not match what Dundee United paid him.
Goodwillie is back at Blackburn following an uninspiring return to Tannadice, where he scored six goals in 22 appearances, half of which came as a substitute.
Blackburn boss Gary Bowyer admits the striker could go on loan again, with St Johnstone and Aberdeen both linked with interest, but McInnes appeared to play down the likelihood of him arriving at Pittodrie.
He told RedTV: “We have been strongly linked with him. Like everything else, sometimes you can speak to an agent and before you know it you have a serious interest there.
“But any player coming in here would need to be on a deal that suits us.
“It certainly wouldn’t be on figures that I think he was getting paid previously for his loan spell this season.”
