The teenage pair are alleged to have to have shoved the woman against a fence in the city’s Main Street on Wednesday March 16. Police Scotland said a report would be submitted to the Youth Justice Assessor for consideration. A witness appeal was launched in the wake of the assault as officers attempted to hunt down Irene Ragan’s attackers. Mrs Ragan suffered a sore hip and arm, as well as a “splitting headache” after being pushed against the fence. She said she was still in pain days after the assault, but that she was determined the incident would not get the better of her.
