Police in St Andrews are appealing for information after reports that a man indecently exposed himself on two occasions.
The incidents took place in the town on Saturday night and police believe the same person is responsible in both instances.
The lone women had been walking in St Mary’s Street, near to the Albany Park student accommodation, between 9.30pm and 10pm.
The suspect has been described as white, aged 24 to 35, 5ft 10in to 6ft, of medium build with short, dark hair with a fringe. He had dark facial features and wore dark clothing.
Detective Sergeant Graeme Dursley said: “This has been a disturbing experience for the victims, who have been on their own at the time.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of the offence or who has any information as to the identity of the suspect to contact the police.”
Anyone who has information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
