Gavin Rae set to sign for Dundee FC for third time
ByNeil Robertson
Dundee are set to make a major signing coup this afternoon with former Scotland star Gavin Rae signing up for what will be his third spell at the club.
The 35-year-old midfielder was told at the end of last season by new Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes that he would not be offered another deal at Pittodrie.
His availability alerted a host of teams but Dark Blues manager John Brown has managed to lure him back to the club where his career began.
Rae will be Brown’s third new signing of this week following the capture of Morton men Peter MacDonald and Willie Dyer on Wednesday, as Dundee look to bounce straight back to the SPL.
Look out for a full in-depth interview with Rae in Friday’s Courier.
