ByNews reporter
A series of military-themed events aboard the Unicorn has opened with a talk by author Alistair Urquhart.
The Forgotten Highlander author chatted to visitors about his book, which charts his Second World War service in the Far East, more than three years of which was spent as a prisoner of war.
It was the first of a number of planned events at the ship, which will include visits from Andrew Orr and Angus Whitson, authors of the best-selling story Sea Dog Bamse, and Major Ronnie Proctor of the Black Watch Association.
