A Dundee University medical researcher has been recognised as one of the most influential scientists in Britain.
Sir Philip Cohen has been named among the 100 most important people in British science by the Times newspaper.
Sir Philip is placed at 55 in the list ahead of figures like Ian King, chief executive of British Aerospace (59); Lord Browne, former CEO of BP (68); Lord Sainsbury, the former minister of science and head of Sainsbury’s supermarket chain (78); and Lord Winston, the fertility medicine pioneer.
